About Kat

Kat is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Experiencing personal growth in therapy and desiring to support others emotionally is what led Kat into this field after a background in elementary education.

Kat’s therapeutic approach is informed by attachment science, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). You can expect a warm, compassionate, and direct therapeutic style from Kat as she helps you accomplish your goals through co-discovering your inner world. Kat holds a Christian worldview and is comfortable incorporating faith into the therapy room, though she does not offer “Christian counseling.”

Born and raised in east Tennessee, middle Tennessee has been home to Kat and her family for five years. In her free time she enjoys going on walks with her family, DIY home projects, and some good ole reality TV.
